More flights between Nizhny Novgorod and Makhachkala: Nordwind Airlines and NordStar enter into code sharing agreement

The airlines have made an agreement on joint commercial operation of the regular Nizhny Novgorod ↔ Makhachkala flight, thus increasing the number of flights to three per week for both destinations. This cooperation provides passengers with more flexibility in planning their vacation, as they can now choose from the schedules of the two carriers.

Nordwind Airlines runs its flights from Nizhny Novgorod to Makhachkala on Tuesdays and Fridays, and from Makhachkala to Nizhny Novgorod on Mondays and Fridays, on Boeing 737-800 and Airbus 321 jets, with a journey time of 2 hours 45 minutes.

NordStar flights are also operated weekly, on Wednesdays, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The journey takes 3 hours.

Note that under the code sharing agreement:

  • Nordwind’s cabin and checked baggage allowances apply on flights N4 809/810: cabin baggage includes one piece of up to 10 kg with dimensions of 40*30*20 cm, while the checked baggage allowance is one piece of up to 20 kg with the sum of three dimensions not exceeding 203 cm;
  • NodrStar’s cabin and checked baggage allowances apply on flights N4 7925/7926: cabin baggage includes one piece of up to 10 kg with dimensions of 55*40*23 cm, while the checked baggage allowance is one piece of up to 23 kg with the sum of three dimensions not exceeding 203 cm.
