Nordwind Named Best Airline at 2024 RUSky Award for Routes and Tourism/Partnership Programmes

Nordwind Airlines has won the IX RUSky Awards for its commitment to developing tourism and partnership programmes in 2024, along with new destinations.

Such recognition reflects the company’s significant contribution to promoting new routes and unlocking the tourism potential of regions.

It is bolstering regional connectivity by pioneering interregional routes that bypass Moscow, creating new transport links and expanding its network. Since 2022, the share of regional routes has grown by 20 points, reaching 82% in 2024 (based on offered capacity). Today, 50% of their flights are unique.

The ceremony took place on 5 February 2025, as part of the 12th National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS) at Crocus Expo.

Nordwind is a big player in Russia's airline industry having a great variety of destinations to choose from and the extensive network of scheduled flights. Its base airports are Sheremetyevo, Pulkovo, Sochi, Kazan, and Makhachkala. - was honoured to win in the “Best Interregional Air Carrier for Domestic Tourism Development” category at the Russian Business Travel & MICE Award in both 2023 and 2024.
- won the first Pulkovo Awards (2024), recognising its contribution to the development of passenger traffic at Pulkovo Airport.
- named Best Airline at the RUSky Awards for its contribution to developing tourism/partnership programmes and destinations in 2024.
