International flights

In this section, we have put together all the relevant information about international flights, requirements for passengers and conditions for entering foreign countries.

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus disease, quarantine has been established on the territory of the Republic of Armenia until June 20, 2022.


  1. Upon entering Armenia, in case of symptoms of COVID-19, the passenger will be quarantined in a hospital.
  2. Entry to the Republic of Armenia will be denied to any foreign citizen with symptoms of COVID-19 who refuses protective isolation in a hospital.
  3. All inbound passengers are allowed to enter the territory of the Republic of Armenia if they have
    • a valid certificate confirming negative PCR test result for COVID-19 upon arrival in accordance with item 7 below
    • or certificate of full vaccination with 2 doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V, at least 14 days prior to arrival
    • or a certificate of full vaccination with 1 dose of Janssen at least 28 days prior to arrival.
  4. All inbound passengers without:
    • a valid certificate with a negative PCR test result for COVID-19
    • or certificate of full vaccination with 2 doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or Sputnik V o or certificate of full vaccination with 2 doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac or
    Must undergo a PCR test for COVID-19 at the airport of the Republic of Armenia at their own expense and must stay self-isolation until the results of the test are received.
    Attention!
    • test results are usually available within 48 hours,
    • if the PCR test result is negative, the requirements for self-isolation are canceled,
    • if the PCR test result is positive, passengers must be hospitalized or isolated for 14 days,
    • prevent the spread of COVID-19, health authorities or police will escort persons subject to hospitalization or isolation to the places designated by the government of the republic
  5. Foreign citizens are prohibited from entering Armenia if they:
    • have not got a valid certificate confirming negative PCR test result for COVID-19, or
    • have not got a full certificate of vaccination with 2 doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinopharm, Sinovac, or Sputnik V obtained at least 14 days prior to arrival or vaccination with 1 dose of Janssen at least 28 days prior to arrival) and
    • refuse to undergo a PCR test for COVID-19 at the airport of the Republic of Armenia and
    • refuse to register with the isolation response system and
    • refuse to undergo self-isolation.
  6. If a certificate with negative PCR test results is provided upon arrival, the test result must be in English, Russian or Armenian, and the biomaterial must be taken no later than 72 hours prior to arrival.
    Attention!
    1. For children under 6 years 11 months and 29 days old no certificate is required.
    2. The sampling date must be indicated on the certificate.
    3. A negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 must contain the following information:
      • full contact details of the passenger,
      • the name of the medical company with the appropriate signature and seal of the head of the company,
      • and details of the person who was tested and vaccinated.
  7. If the traveler’s vaccination certificate is registered in a special system created by the health authorities, the passenger may:
    • provide a certificate of vaccination using the official mobile application
    • or provide a hard copy printed from the official mobile application using an active QR code.
  8. All inbound passengers may be examined at the airport by the health authorities and the police.
  9. Crew members without symptoms of COVID-19 are allowed entry and exit (with mandatory self-isolation prior to departure).

Due to the favorable epidemic situation, Azerbaijan has lifted the restrictions in force since March 2020 related to the entry through the air border for citizens and residents of Russia, Turkey, the United States, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Israel, Hungary, Qatar, Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Canada, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Slovakia, Greece, China, Estonia, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Croatia, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Brunei, South Korea, Chile, Ecuador, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Maldives, Mexico, Morocco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Norway, Oman, Panama, El Salvador, Uruguay and New Zealand.

According to the new rules, citizens of the above countries can fly to Azerbaijan on the following conditions:

  • Persons over 18 must have a negative PCR test certificate for COVID-19 received within 72 hours prior to departure, as well as an official document (certificate) of full vaccination or recovery from coronavirus
    This certificate must bear electronic verification attributes (for example, a QR code) confirming its validity. The test form must not necessarily have such attributes, but they are welcomed in order to speed up the formal procedures.
  • Persons aged 1 to 18 only need to provide a certificate with a negative PCR test result, and children under one year of age do not need any documents.

Documents will be inspected during check-in at the airport of departure.

Citizens of Azerbaijan, their direct relatives (spouses, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandparents or grandchildren), family members of such passengers - their spouses, parents and children, as well as persons entitled to work or reside in Azerbaijan may arrive in the country by air if they have:

  • Copies of a document confirming the relationship, as well as a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 received within 72 hours before the flight departure.

By the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 371 dated November 27, 2021, the rules for the recognition of certificates confirming vaccination against COVID-19 coronavirus infection, contraindication to vaccination, negative PCR test result and acquired immunity by persons infected and recovered from COVlD-19 coronavirus infection were adopted.

According to the Decree No. 727 dated December 17, 2021, self-isolation for citizens of all countries, regardless of where they came from, has been canceled since December 22.

  • There are no restrictions on entry into the country for citizens of the Republic of Belarus and foreigners who have a permit for permanent or temporary residence in Belarus. Providing a document with a negative PCR test result is not required.
  • Foreign citizens (aged 6+) must provide a certificate of full vaccination with ANY drug (the last dose must have been administered at least 1 month and not more than 1 year ago).
    Health insurance must not be provided for verification.
    If not vaccinated, foreign citizens who have reached the age of six must be PCR-tested. The period of validity of a document confirming a negative PCR test result is calculated from the date of test until the end of the fourth day. The test date is considered the first day the document is valid.
    Example: If the test date is 01.12.2021, the PCR document will become void for entry into the Republic of Belarus from 00.00 05.12.2021.
  • If you have a document confirming a 24-hour transit through the territory of Belarus, you do not need to provide a document with a negative PCR test result.

Passengers must fill out the Sanitary Declaration electronically on the website https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/.
As a result, passengers will receive a QR code, which must be presented upon arrival.
Upon arrival in Cuba, passengers may be required to undergo PCR testing and temperature control.

Starting from 01.07.2023 Cuba has banned the extension or renewal of the Cuban passports, which have expired.

In other words, if the passport of a Cuba citizen has expired, he or she must obtain a new document.

At this time Cuban citizens have 2 types of passports, which are issued for 6 or 10 years. Prior the banning law, the passports could have been renewed every 2 years after the end of their validity period.

All citizens who received an extension of their passports before 01.07.2023 can use their old (renewed/extended) passports.

The minors from 0 to 16 years old can travel with their own passports, with the validity period of 5 years. After they reach the age of legal majority, a new passport valid for 10 years should be issued for them.

The renewed/extended passports have a sticker on them indicating the validity period of such document.

Information from the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Russia

From January 14, 2021 05:00, passengers aged 12+, regardless of their vaccination history, who wish to travel to the Republic of Cyprus, have the opportunity to undergo one of the following diagnostic tests:

  • Negative RT-PCR laboratory test for COVID-19 valid within 72 hours before departure to the Republic of Cyprus, or
  • Rapid antigen test valid within 24 hours before departure

All passengers aged 12 and over, regardless of whether they have a certificate of full vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, must take a PCR test upon arrival at the airport in Cyprus. The costs of the PCR test will be borne by the passengers themselves. The cost of the test is 15 euros at Larnaca airport and 19 euros at Paphos airport.

All passengers arriving in the Republic of Cyprus must undergo a rapid COVID-19 antigen test within 72 hours of arrival in Cyprus. Passengers who have taken their 3rd dose of one of the approved vaccines do not need to be tested.
A rapid antigen testing is provided free of charge at mobile testing points of the Ministry of Health upon presentation of a boarding pass and an identity document (ID card, passport).

Entry into the Republic of Cyprus is prohibited to persons who, less than 14 days prior to arrival in the Republic, were, lived or transited the following countries: South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Botswana.
Entry into the Republic of Cyprus is permitted only for:

  1. Citizens of Cyprus and their family members (foreign spouses and their minor children),
  2. Citizens of the EU, European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), Switzerland, and
  3. Third country nationals legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus,
    Passengers in categories 1 to 3 must comply with all of the following measures, regardless of whether they have a certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19:
    • negative laboratory test result for COVID-19, obtained less than 72 hours before departure to the Republic of Cyprus and undergoing retrial laboratory test (at own expense) upon arrival in the Republic,
    • 10 days of self-isolation from the moment of arrival in hotels and/or tourist sites approved by the Ministry of Tourism, while the day of arrival is counted as “0”. The cost of travel to the specified hotels and objects is paid by passengers,
    • undergo a laboratory examination on the 10th day after arrival (free of charge). In case of a negative result, the passenger will be allowed to leave the place of self-isolation.

Persons under 12 are not required to undergo a laboratory examination in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Decree “Determination of Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus Infection” (No. 43) dated 2021.

Until December 6, PCR testing is carried out by random screening of passengers entering the Republic of Cyprus through Larnaca and Paphos airports, regardless of the country of origin of the passengers.

Note. Passengers arriving in the Republic through (sea) ports for a short visit must present a certificate with a negative PCR test result valid up to 72 hours. In addition, upon arrival, they will have to undergo rapid antigen testing at the expense of the Republic of Cyprus.

The result of the PCR test for COVID-19 must be uploaded to the Cyprus Flight Pass platform. Upon arrival in Cyprus, it is also required to undergo retrial testing, which is carried out at the expense of the passenger.

A special form on the platform www.cyprusflightpass.gov.cy to obtain Cyprus Flight Pass must be completed no earlier than 48 hours before departure. Please note that without this document, passengers cannot be allowed to board the flight.

The test is not required for children under 12, Cypriot citizens and their family members, persons with a permanent residence permit in Cyprus, diplomats and their family members. These categories of persons undergo testing for COVID-19 upon arrival on the island, after which they are required to ensure self-isolation for 72 hours and, at the end of the specified period, undergo retrial testing.

Passengers who have been vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) or the Sputnik V vaccine (Gam-COVID-Vac) and who have received all the required doses of the respective vaccine are allowed to travel to Cyprus without a PCR test. Attention! For the guidance of passengers: PCR tests made in the northern part of the island in the southern part of Cyprus are NOT ACCEPTED.

    • Passengers who have been inside only in the past 14 days and are arriving from Australia, Canada, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (SAR China), Jordan, Korea (REP), Kuwait, Macau (SAR China), Malta, New Zealand, Poland , Portugal (Azores), Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Spain (Canary Islands only), Uruguay or the Vatican (Holy See);
    • Passengers having a diplomatic passport traveling on business;
    • Spouses of British citizens living in the Czech Republic. They must have a marriage certificate or proof of partnership;
    • Passengers under the age of 21 who are children of UK citizens residing in the Czech Republic. They must have a birth certificate and a copy of their parents’ residence permit;
    • Passengers who are married to citizens of Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, the Vatican (Holy See) and EU Member States residing in the Czech Republic. They must have proof of their relationship issued by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
    • Passengers with a D visa issued by the Czech Republic;
    • Passengers with a C visa issued by the Czech Republic after May 11, 2020;
    • Passengers with an X visa valid for travel to the Czech Republic issued after August 1, 2021 by another EU Member State;
    • Passengers having an EU Covid Digital Certificate (EU DCC) certifying that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival;
    • Passengers with a digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate certifying that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival, issued in Albania, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Israel, Monaco, North Macedonia (Rep.), Panama, Turkey, or Ukraine.
      The acceptable vaccines are AstraZeneca (Vaxevria), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax) and Pfizer-Biontech (Comirnaty); ;
    • Passengers having COVID-19 vaccination certificate in English certifying that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival, issued in Argentina, Armenia, Bahrain, Bhutan, Brazil, Chile, Georgia, Hong Kong, (China SAR), India, Iraq (Kurdistan), Jordan, Kosovo (Rep.), Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Moldova (Rep.), Montenegro, Nepal, Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom or the USA.

    • Citizens of the Czech Republic with a negative COVID-19 antigen test obtained no more than 48 hours prior to departure from the first point;
    • Citizens of the Czech Republic having service passport, traveling on duty with a maximum stay of 72 hours;
    • Passengers having diplomatic passport, traveling on business with a maximum stay of 72 hours;
    • Passengers having permanent residence permit issued by the Czech Republic and a negative COVID-19 antigen test obtained no more than 48 hours prior to departure from the first point;

    • Passengers having digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival, issued by the following countries: Albania, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Israel, Monaco, North Macedonia, Panama, Turkey or Ukraine.
      The acceptable vaccines are AstraZeneca (Vaxevria), Covishield, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax) and Pfizer-Biontech (Comirnaty);
    • Passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming that they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival, issued by the following countries: Argentina, Armenia, Bahrain, Bhutan, Brazil, Chile, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, Iraq (Kurdistan), Jordan, Kosovo (Rep.), Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Nepal, Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Syria, the USA, the United Arab Emirates or the United Kingdom, in English.

    • Passengers with an EU Covid Digital Certificate (EU DCC) as proof of recovery, issued at least 11 days and no more than 180 days prior to arrival;
    • Passengers having digital COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and no more than 180 days prior to arrival in Albania, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Israel, Monaco, Panama, North Macedonia (Rep.), Turkey or Ukraine;
    • Spouses of Czech citizens and their children under the age of 21 with a negative COVID-19 antigen test obtained no more than 48 hours prior to departure from the first point;
    • Children antigens, obtained no more than 48 hours prior to departure from the first point;of Czech citizens under the age of 21 with a negative test result for COVID-19
    • Passengers under 12.
  3. Passengers must complete a Passenger Search Form before boarding.

    Exceptions:
    • Passengers under 6;
    • Citizens of the Czech Republic having service passport, traveling on duty with a maximum stay of 72 hours;
    • Passengers having diplomatic passport, traveling on business with a maximum stay of 72 hours.
  4. Passengers may be subject to selective COVID-19 testing and quarantine upon arrival.
  1. Passengers over 7 years old arriving from Spain or those who have been in Spain within the last 14 days must have:
    • a negative COVID-19 antigen test or PCR test result obtained no later than 72 hours prior to arrival; or
    • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming full vaccination at least two weeks prior to arrival.
  2. Passengers over 5 years old arriving from Australia or those who have been in the following countries during the last 14 days: Australia, Brazil, Congo, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Kuwait, Monaco, Senegal, South Africa, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sweden, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia or the United Kingdom must have:
    • a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 obtained no more than 72 hours prior to arrival: or
    • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming full vaccination at least three weeks prior to arrival.
  3. Passengers arriving from Venezuela must have permission obtained from the immigration authorities before departure.

  4. Prior to departure to the Dominican Republic, passengers must obligatorily complete the Electronic Form (E-TICKET)* at https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/. In this case, a QR code will be generated, which must be presented both when checking in for a flight departing to the Dominican Republic and upon arrival in the Dominican Republic. Migration cards in paper form are not required.
    *Electronic travel document (E-TICKET). From April 1, 2021, all passengers arriving in and departing from the Dominican Republic on commercial flights (scheduled or charter) must complete a questionnaire and issue an electronic document that combines digital versions of the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Travel Card. From May 1, 2021, the issuance of an electronic document has become mandatory, and the provision of information necessary for entry into the Dominican Republic will not be accepted on paper. The Electronic Travel Document application form is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Russian at https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/
    Passengers will need to fill out an entry questionnaire and an exit questionnaire, and the system will generate two QR codes. Airports in the Dominican Republic have free wireless Internet access, so passengers who failed to fill out a questionnaire before departure can do so upon arrival in the country. To save time at passport control, it is recommended to complete the questionnaire 72 hours before the trip, print the QR code or take a screenshot of the code and have it on hand before arrival, where it will be scanned when the passenger passes through customs. The QR code will not be scanned when leaving the country, but it is a confirmation that the document was issued correctly. If you need to make changes to an already completed document, you need to fill out the questionnaire again.


  5. Passengers can be tested for COVID-19 upon arrival.
    Exceptions:
    • passengers with a negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test taken up to 72 hours prior to arrival: or
    • passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming that they have been fully vaccinated at least three weeks prior to arrival.

  7. Airline crew arriving from Spain without a negative COVID-19 antigen or PCR test results obtained no more than 72 hours prior to arrival or a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming that they were fully vaccinated at least two weeks before arrival, is subject to self-isolation prior to the next flight.

  8. Airline crew arriving from: Australia, Brazil, Congo, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Kuwait, Monaco, Senegal, South Africa, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sweden, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia or the United Kingdom without a negative COVID-19 PCR test result obtained no more than 72 hours prior to arrival or a COVID-19 vaccination certificate confirming full vaccination at least three weeks prior to arrival, are subject to self-isolation prior to the next flight.

Visa Requirements

A passenger must have a valid visa in order to enter Iran!

Please pay your attention at the fact that visas for citizens of a number of states and visas of certain categories can only be issued through the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the check-in for a flight departing from the Russian Federation to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the travelers must demonstrate a valid (visa) e-visa and a return ticket.
Attention!

  • If there is a tourist, business, private visa then the passengers are admitted to the flight only with round-trip tickets.
  • If there is a student, investor, diplomatic visa then the passengers are admitted to the flight with the one-trip ticket.
  • The acceptance of passengers to the flight without a pre-arranged visa is allowed, provided there is available VISA GRANT NOTICE, in which the place of obtaining a visa is indicated as Imam Khomeini International Airport – Tehran (IKA).

The passengers with the valid passports who are traveling for the business purposes can obtain a visa on arrival for up to 14 days if they have an invitation issued by a government agency at least 2 days prior their date of arrival in Iran.

Passengers traveling from the Russian Federation through Iran as transit passengers must have and demonstrate a transit visa at the check-in before the flight.

A minor child whose father is an Iranian citizen must present an Iranian passport or visa at check-in in order to enter the country.

    • Citizens and residents of Israel;
    • Passengers with a letter of permission issued by the Population and Immigration Authority. The letter must be sent on or after November 28, 2021;
    • Passengers with A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 visa;

      From January 13, 2022, A1-A5 visa holders are allowed to enter Israel whether they are vaccinated or not.
      Minors (under 18) holding a foreign passport traveling with their parents holding an A1-A5 visa are allowed to enter Israel, whether they are vaccinated or not. In this case, both parents must have an A1-A5 visa.

    Passengers must obtain an electronic authorization from the Ministry of Health and a Green Pass, which must be presented before boarding.

  4. Passengers and airline crew members who have been outside of Israel for more than 72 hours, entering or transiting through Israel, must have:

    - any type of negative PCR test for COVID-19 obtained no more than 72 hours before departure from the first airport on the flight route;

    or

    - a negative test for COVID-19 antigens, obtained no more than 24 hours before departure from the first airport on the flight route. Passengers who have recovered from COVID-19 must present a positive rapid antigen test in addition to a positive PCR test they obtained less than three months before, provided that at least 8 months have passed since the date of the test. The test must be performed by professional samplers (test kits for self control are not acceptable).

    The test result must be in English and contain the passenger’s passport number.

    Exceptions:
    - Passengers and airline crew members with any type of positive PCR test for COVID-19 obtained at least 8 days and no more than 3 months before departure from the first point of landing;
    - Airline crew who are in Israel for less than 72 hours.

  5. Passengers must have medical insurance to cover the cost of treatment for COVID-19.

    Exceptions:
    - Citizens and residents of Israel.
  6. Passengers will be PCR tested for COVID-19 upon arrival at their own expense.

Due to maintenance work on the computer system from Monday, January 17, 2022 to Monday, January 31, 2022, the main part of the flight service will be transferred to Terminal 1. Passengers will undergo a partial pre-flight inspection, check-in and border control in Terminal 1 and will be taken to Terminal 3 for duty free shopping and boarding. In addition, during the work, services in sectors (C, D) of terminal 3 will be interrupted for various periods of time.

Persons with disabilities from certain groups established by Israeli law are entitled to no-queue service, upon presentation of a certificate confirming their right to do so.
The airport has a service desk for passengers who have a certificate allowing no-queue service and a Disability Card from the National Institute of Insurance. During the check-in for each flight, signs will be displayed at the control desk with the logo of the respective service.

    A printed form with a QR code must be presented to airline personnel before boarding and to airport personnel upon arrival in Jordan.

Foreign citizens (including citizens of the Russian Federation) can enter Kazakhstan only by flights from all states with which Kazakhstan has resumed regular passenger flights. At the moment these are the following countries:

no visa: Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, South Korea;

visa required: the UK, Hungary, Germany, Egypt, Qatar, Maldives, the Netherlands, Poland, Montenegro.

All those arriving on flights to Kazakhstan, including those without a full course of vaccination against COVID-19, are required to provide a PCR certificate with a negative result for coronavirus, made no earlier than 72 hours before crossing the border. The certificate must be in English, Kazakh or Russian. It is not required to provide a certificate of a negative coronavirus test for children under 5 years of age if the accompanying persons have a certificate.

The state of emergency is in effect until January 19, 2022, during the curfew from 23:00 to 07:00 in the morning, crew members can move around the city using a crew member's identity card.

From 01.05.2022, the requirements for entry into Kyrgyzstan related to COVID-19 have been cancelled.

A PCR test for COVID-19 is not required to enter Mexico.

  1. To enter the territory of North Macedonia, passengers aged 18+ must present:
    • either a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 completed at least 15 days prior to departure;
    • or a certificate of past COVID-19 disease, no more than 45 days prior to departure;
    • or a negative COVID-19 test result obtained no more than 72 hours prior to arrival;
    • or a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test carried out within 48 hours prior to arrival.
  2. Passengers without a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, or without a COVID-19 disease certificate, or without a PCR or rapid antigen test, must be quarantined for 7 days at their own expense.

  3. Passengers arriving from India are subject to quarantine for 14 days.

From February 1, Norway has canceled tests on arrival for all travelers, regardless of their vaccination status.

To enter Norway, Russian tourists need:

  • to be registered in the system https://reg.entrynorway.no/ within 72 hours before arrival;
  • to be PCR or antigen tested no earlier than 24 hours before entry.

Passengers with a valid European COVID certificate (Russian-made vaccines are not recognized) are exempted from testing before departure.

  • Before boarding, passengers must provide proof of immunization status using one of the following methods:
    - show the health status in the Tawakkalna app;
    - present a certificate of vaccination registered in Saudi Arabia through the Registration of Arrivals platform
  • Foreign citizens aged 8+ must have a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 obtained 72 hours prior to departure. The test must be done in a certified laboratory.
  • Foreign citizens must register their details on the Registration of Arrivals platform prior to departure to Saudi Arabia.
  • Passengers who will be required to undergo institutional quarantine must carry proof of payment for the quarantine package. Transfer from the airport to quarantine facilities is provided as part of the quarantine package. Without confirmation of the availability of the paid quarantine package, the passenger will be denied boarding.
  • Children under 12 years old traveling with an adult passenger on a tourist visa may enter without complying with quarantine requirements, unless these requirements also apply to the person accompanying them.
  • Passenger details on visa and travel documents must match.
  • Institutional quarantine is not applied to citizens arriving in Saudi Arabia (in transit) from countries where institutional quarantine is applied to citizens arriving from it, subject to the precautions and approved preventive measures.
  • Non-Saudi spouses of the citizens of Saudi Arabia, their children, parents and accompanying domestic workers arriving in the Kingdom from other countries are exempted from the requirement of a mandatory PCR test for Covid-19 before entering the Kingdom.
  • Citizens arriving from the countries subject to entry restrictions will be obliged to undergo home quarantine for a period of 5 days. They must be PCR tested on the first and fifth day, regardless of immunization status.
  • Direct entry from all countries is allowed to passengers who received one dose of vaccine in Saudi Arabia, provided they are subject to institutional quarantine procedures for 3 days.
  • Passengers arriving from non-restricted countries with a valid work visa or a valid residence permit must provide confirmation of the availability of the paid quarantine package at one of the quarantine facilities approved by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.
  • All travelers arriving in the Kingdom must download the Tawakkalna app and log in within 8 hours of arrival.
  • All foreign citizens and persons travelling with them, including vaccinated ones, must complete the Vaccination Registration Form indicating their immunization details before departure to Saudi Arabia at https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home
    Before boarding, they will have to present proof of filling out the form in one of the following ways:
    - show a message about successful registration on the mobile phone;
    - show the printed certificate with the registration number;
    - show confirmation of registration using passport number through the website muqeem.sa
  • Passengers must wear masks and maintain social distancing in all areas, including outdoor areas.

According to the information of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Saudi Arabia, from 01.01.2022, certificates of receipt of two components of the Russian SPUTNIK V vaccine are recognized by Saudi Arabia for entry into the country. Certificates are valid for short-term trips to the Kingdom, including for the purpose of performing pilgrimage rituals (hajj and umrah) to Mecca and Medina.

Passengers will be denied boarding if they do not have a negative PCR test result within 48 hours from the date of issuance of the result prior to arrival, or 72 hours if the flight is delayed through no fault of their own.

This does not apply to:

  1. Passengers holding a permanent or temporary residence permit issued by Serbia;
  2. The test is not required for passengers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Serbia or have a vaccination certificate obtained in one of the following countries: Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Cape Verde, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Morocco, the Netherlands, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, or the United Kingdom (vaccinated with two doses, or one dose when vaccinated with AstraZeneca or Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine);
  3. Citizens of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Montenegro or North Macedonia, provided that they come from their country of citizenship;
  4. Persons having residence permit in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Hungary, Montenegro or North Macedonia, provided that they come from their country of citizenship. They must show a negative PCR or rapid antigen test within 48 hours of arrival obtained from the Serbian Reference Laboratory;
  5. Citizens of Slovenia who have a medical certificate confirming that they had Covid-19 within the last 180 days or within the last 8 months if they received at least 1 dose of the Covid-19 vaccine;
  6. Slovenian citizens aged 15 and under, provided they are traveling with an adult who meets all testing requirements;
  7. Passengers having an official certificate of recovery confirming that the passenger has suffered Covid-19 within the last 14 days, issued maximum 6 months ago by a medical institution in Andorra, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey or the United States;
  8. Children aged 11 and under;
  9. Employees of diplomatic missions or international organizations, including members of their families, if they have a Special Identity Card or identity documents issued by Serbia;
  10. Crew members;
  11. Croatian citizens who are full-time or part-time students at higher educational institutions in Serbia. These passengers must prove their status with proper documentation;
  12. Passengers traveling in transit through Serbia for less than 12 hours;
  13. Foreign citizens providing international transport services;
  14. Police, military or security personnel arriving to perform their official duties with prior notice; or
  15. Passengers arriving for business purposes with prior notice to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They must present a negative PCR or rapid antigen test within 24 hours of arrival, issued by a Serbian laboratory; or
  16. Minors aged 12 to 18 who must undergo a PCR or an antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 virus in a Serbian laboratory within 48 hours after arrival.

Passengers traveling from the United States may present the results of a rapid test for negative FIA antigen obtained within 48 hours prior to arrival in instead of a PCR test.

Passengers traveling from Slovenia can present a negative HAGT test issued within 48 hours prior to arrival instead of a PCR test.

From 03.06.2022, the requirements for entry into Tajikistan related to COVID-19 have been cancelled for citizens of the Russian Federation.

  • Vaccination is no longer required.
  • Passenger from country that has requirements for RT-PCR Test might as well have health insurance covering at least USD 10,000 of treatment of COVID-19 for the itineraries in Thailand plus 7 days.
    - Those with business arrangement, including flight crew, student, may have a letter from the host or other form of insurance to cover such need.
    - Absence of health insurance is not the reason to deny boarding.
    - The quarantine officer will randomly check the proof of insurance of passengers from that country. If not exist, the passenger will have to purchase health insurance before immigration.
    - Once Ministry of public health has regulation regarding this issue, the airline mayprocess passenger without prove of insurance per the regulation.
  • Holder of thai passport and transit/transfer passengers are exempted from health insurance check.
  • The airlines must adhere to related regulation and comply with the guidance as appropriate such as asking passenger to wear mask at all time except during meal or emergency situation.
  • Any passenger having symptoms of COVID-19 during travel shall be recommended to test at arrival.

The entry rules for passengers arriving in Tunisia on regular or charter flights as part of organized tourist groups are exempt from mandatory self-isolation if the following conditions are met:

  • The application form on the website https://app.e7mi.tn are filled in prior to departure to Tunisia (in English, French or Arabic);
  • A negative PCR test result obtained no earlier than 72 hours before check-in for the flight is presented in the airport of departure. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from testing.
    Also, starting from June 01, 2021, a negative PCR test is no longer required for travelers arriving in Tunisia who meet the following criteria:
    1. Fully vaccinated against coronavirus and having relevant certificate with a QR code;
    2. Persons who have been confirmed to have coronavirus at least six weeks prior to arrival in Tunisia, upon presentation of the relevant medical certificate issued by the competent authorities.
  • Upon arrival in Tunisia, tourists are included in an organized group. This requirement applies to the stay and movement of tourists within the territory and outside the places of residence.

Entry rules for passengers traveling to Tunisia not as part of organized tourist groups:

Passengers arriving in Tunisia must:

  • pre-fill the application form on the site https://app.e7mi.tn prior to departure to Tunisia (in English, French or Arabic);
  • upon check-in for the flight and upon arrival in Tunisia, present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 obtained no earlier than 72 hours prior to boarding;
  • undergo self-isolation (at the place of permanent residence or in a specialized observatory hotel) for 7 days;
  • after 5-7 days of being in self-isolation, at their own expense, make a retrial analysis for coronavirus infection (PCR test). If a negative result is obtained, the quarantine ends.

The requirement to stay in an observatory hotel does not apply to:

  • foreigners arriving in Tunisia who have been vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection and who have an appropriate certificate issued by the health authorities of their country of residence. They are obliged to undergo self-isolation at their place of permanent residence in Tunisia;
  • persons arriving in Tunisia for medical treatment in agreement with the Tunisian competent authorities;
  • members of official delegations arriving in Tunisia for less than 5 days.

All persons exempted from mandatory quarantine must undergo rapid testing for COVID-19 upon arrival in Tunisia. In case of a positive result, the foreigner is sent to a specialized observatory. From 15.01.2022, citizens arriving in the Republic of Uzbekistan from foreign countries must provide data confirming negative PCR test result for coronavirus, obtained at least 48 hours before arrival in the Republic.
In the absence of a certificate of negative PCR test for COVID-19, all travelers will need to pass a rapid test at the airport of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The absence of the mentioned certificate may serve as a basis for denial of check-in at Russian airports for flights to Uzbekistan.
